Towels are one of the things that harbor germs. But we often overlook and don’t give much importance to cleanliness. Many people tend to clean their homes, shoes, and clothes frequently. But they often forget and don’t pay attention to nearby items such as towels that accumulate a lot of germs.
There was a saying that “If you use the same towel more than 3 times in a row and the towel has not been cleaned at all. You better not shower at all.” ยูฟ่าเบท
The reason for bringing up this message is because I want everyone to easily think about what we use towels with.
Some people use it to wipe themselves. Sometimes the towel isn’t dry enough and I use it again. Some people wash their hands and use the same cloth to wipe. Some people go to the bathroom and defecate heavily and when they finish washing their hands, they use the same towel to wipe.
Sometimes our towels fall and then we pick them up and use them again. There are many reasons why towels become a breeding ground for germs.
Its dangers are simple: It can cause us to develop skin diseases. It causes us to get acne on our face and back, spreading germs to people who use our towels.
So how often should I wash or change it?
- Should be washed at least once a week.
- Put it in the sun to dry after use so that germs disappear.
- Wash immediately if exposed to body secretions such as mucus or saliva.
- Wash if used to absorb sweat. or keep it in a damp place
- The normal lifespan of a towel is approximately 1-3 years.
In summary, towels should be washed once a week. More often than that is fine. Wash immediately if used with secretions such as mucus, saliva, sweat, or drops on the floor. Store in a humid place. Should be changed when they are 1-3 years old or older, depending on usage. Good health starts with us. Nearby things like this can have more negative effects on our health than we think.
