The enterprise door. A real targeting story, and a first invoice that is not three gigabytes.

Bright Dataproxy review
Bright Data’s residential list price in this sample is $8 per GB pay as you go. A 50% coupon often displays $4. The first large committed plan cited elsewhere starts near $499. Residential requires KYC. The company sells unlockers, datasets, and SERP tools around the proxy.

Our reading
Who this provider is for
I use Bright Data when the buyer wants the platform, not only an IP. If you need the proxy and nothing else, you are paying for a campus you will not walk. The $4 promo is real as a coupon and dishonest as a list price. I print $8, and I say the coupon exists.
Open it if Teams who will use more than the proxy: collection tools, datasets, or a vendor their security team already reviewed.
Skip it if You want the cheapest gigabyte, or you need traffic tonight and KYC is a closed door. A door you cannot open is not a product.
How we compare ratesStrengths
- The widest product surface: proxy types plus tools around them
- Targeting depth is the reason enterprises stay
- The list rate is published, so the promo is visible as a promo
- ISP, datacenter, and mobile exist as separate products
Limits
- KYC on residential. Budget a delay
- $8 list versus a $4 coupon confuses every roundup that picks one
- The $2.50 volume floor is not the starting bill
- We do not print their success-rate charts as our results
Same standard, every vendor
What we checked on Bright Data
Four checks. Not a score, and not a paid rank.
Door
Enterprise platform. Residential KYC. Not a three-dollar evening signup.
Entry rate
List PAYG $8/GB. Coupon often $4/GB. Do not store the coupon as the list.
What we refuse to score
Bright Data does not get a success rate, a millisecond average, or a pool-size audit on this page. Those are claims. Your URL list is the test.
Money
Outbound buttons can be affiliate. They are labeled. The order is editorial. A cheaper cell does not automatically outrank a provider you can start and leave.
- List PAYG
- $8.00/GB

- Yes, for residential
- Default rank
- Third, when the platform is the point

Bright Data rate sample
Published entry rates only. A blank price is a quote, not a zero.
Print the list, mention the coupon
Roundups that lead with $2.50 or $4 are describing a floor or a promo. Both exist. Neither is the number on a new account that skips the coupon and skips the commit. I keep $8 in the price cell so the table does not depend on a code that can vanish.
How I would start
- 01
Decide if you need the platform
Proxy only: compare Decodo. Proxy plus tools: stay.
- 02
Start KYC early
The pool does not matter until the account opens.
- 03
Write list and coupon on two lines
So next month’s invoice is not a surprise.
FAQ
Bright Data questions
How much is Bright Data per GB?+
List pay-as-you-go in this sample is $8/GB. A 50% coupon often shows $4. Volume plans go lower. Confirm the live page and whether the coupon is still attached.
Is Bright Data the best residential proxy?+
It is the widest platform. It is not the easiest start and not the cheapest entry. Best depends on whether you needed the rest of the product.
