How to Test Proxies

How do I test if a proxy is working?

Paste host:port or host:port:user:pass. If the Status is success, the echo saw an exit IP. Then open URLs you are allowed to collect. This box does not open Google or Amazon.

Does this checker support SOCKS5?

Not in this box. It tests HTTP or HTTPS proxies through a public IP echo. Test SOCKS5 in the client your vendor issued.

Why only one proxy?

This confirms the four fields work. It is not a scanner for open lists. Fifty pasted IPs belong in your own lab, not on this page.
