ISP proxies

Static IP$0.30/IP/mo

ISP proxies, often called static residential, are addresses announced by a consumer ISP and hosted in a datacenter. You pay per IP per month. You get speed closer to a server and a reputation closer to a home connection. You do not get a fresh city on every request.

Our reading

Who this type is for

Buy ISP when you need a stable exit you can return to: a session you own, a monitor that must not rotate, a workload that failed on datacenter ASNs and does not need a new household every request. Skip it when you need country-scale rotation. That job is residential, and it is billed in gigabytes.

Buy it if Static sessions, dedicated or shared ISP lists, jobs where the address should still be there tomorrow.

Skip it if You need a new city per request, or you only needed a cheap datacenter IP and the target never complained.

Trade-offs

Pros and cons of ISP proxies

What this type is for, and when it is the wrong bill.

Strengths

  • Static by design. The IP is the product
  • ISP ASN without last-mile mobile latency
  • Bandwidth is often a plan cap, not a per-GB tax on every retry
  • Dedicated options exist when sharing the IP is the bug

Limits

  • Shared ISP at $0.30 is not dedicated. Reputation is shared too
  • City coverage is thinner than rotating residential pools
  • A $3 dedicated IP and a $0.30 shared IP are different products
  • NetNut and Bright Data ISP prices are quote rows here on purpose

Static is the feature

The reason to pay for an ISP proxy is that it stays. Rotating residential will not be the same exit after lunch. If your job is a login you control, a cart you are allowed to open, or a monitor that breaks when the IP changes, the lease is the product.

Webshare’s shared ISP entry is the cheapest published cell here. Proxy-Seller’s dedicated lists start higher and are the ones to read when the IP must be yours. I am not printing NetNut or Bright Data ISP stickers I could not separate from their other products.

How I would buy it

  1. 01

    Decide shared or dedicated

Shared is the floor. Dedicated is the product when the neighbor’s traffic is a problem.

  2. 02

    Pick the country

ISP lists are country catalogs. Do not assume city targeting because residential rotating has it.

  3. 03

    Check the transfer cap

250 GB on a 20-IP plan is a cap. Unlimited on a dedicated ISP is a different sentence. Read yours.
