How to choose a proxy provider without a fake score

Open the door you can leave. Read the unit. Leave the cheapest sticker labeled, not crowned.

People search for the best proxy provider and then land on a table of success rates they cannot rerun. This index does not print those rates. A lab that fires millions of requests can. We did not. What we can stand behind is the public price, the unit, and whether a normal team can start without a sales call.

Start with the job, then the door

If a hosting IP already returns the page, you do not need residential. Datacenter shared lists, Webshare’s entry around $0.03 per IP, are the cheap test. If the target rejects hosting networks and you are collecting public pages you are allowed to collect, residential is the meter, and it is dollars per gigabyte. If the same address must exist tomorrow, that is an ISP lease, dollars per IP. Mobile is the last test, not the first.

What not to rank on

Pool sizes in the hundreds of millions are vendor sentences. A 50% coupon is a promotion. A $2 per GB line at a terabyte is not the plan a new team will buy. A success percentage from someone else’s lab is their measurement. Copying it into our table would pretend we ran the test.
